Three Generations

This batch of pictures means so much to me! Cindy DeMond is a very special childhood friend. Here she is with her Mom, Diane and her daughter, Whitney. They braved some pretty raw temperatures to complete this shoot. We were all shivering by the end but it was worth it for sure!
Aren't they beautiful?

Cindy's family suffered the loss of their beloved father, husband and grandfather 3 short years ago. The redbird atop the frame is a reminder of him...a bird watcher and bird lover. Cardinals often show up and bring the DeMonds a reminder that their Dad is in heaven watching over them. He and my own father were fast friends and sang gospel music together for many years. They are both loved and cherished even though they are not with us here on earth.

My prayer for this family is that they never stop living the legacy their father left...faith in God, love of family and commitment to each other.

Fall 2014

Fall is my favorite. The colors, the food, the weather, everything about it is okay with me. We are blessed to live in a spot where we can walk in the woods and in the fields and explore without ever leaving the property. The leaves fall and we never rake them unless someone needs to make a pile to jump in. We blow them off of the lane and sidewalk, but other then that the leaves are left alone.
The girls were cute this year, old enough to get outside and really play. Here is a little sample of the hundreds of pictures I took.
