Beach Therapy

There are certain things that calm the spirit and start to release the tension that builds in me over time.

There are few things that do that better than a trip to the beach.

I'm not sure if it's the warm sand,

...the sound of the crashing waves that drown out everything even though there may be hundreds of people around...

Maybe it's just that freedom to do whatever floats your boat, whenever the mood strikes.
Truthfully though, vacations can be fairly exhausting.
There is so much to do and so little time to do it...

There are a million fun things to experience and all of your favorite people are there to share it with!
well...almost. We missed you Mike and Jeannie!

Still, there were those moments when I felt truly relaxed, and believe me I soaked it up.

Because very soon, my life is going to change.
Oh, haven't I told you?
Both my sons are getting married in September.
You heard me right, BOTH IN THE SAME MONTH! We are thrilled and excited but there is a lot to be accomplished in the meantime. I can feel the tension building!

Maybe I better plan a post-wedding-madness-trip =-]. Stay tuned.

  1. Love the picture of you and Jim, it looks so nice. Have a wonderful time and relax a little for me. Meredith keeps asking when we're going to the beach, I think she's following in your beach babe footsteps.
