Love Tattoo

My son Mike got engaged over the holidays to his sweet girl, Jeannie. Soon after that they got matching tattoos. A scripture that means a lot to them and characterizes the love that God has given them for eachother. Read about it here.

Another Sweet Shot Tuesday

I love Sunday. I don't know about you, but around here, Sunday is a day of rest.

Now that doesn't mean we don't do lots of other things,

Like get up and get dressed and go to church.

And then return home in a ravinous frenzy, and eat everything in the fridge.

But after we do those most important things...we take a power nap.

This week after my nap...and while hubby was still asleep, I played around with the camera.

One of my goals for 2011 is to learn to take better pictures...by first learning more about my camera.

So I lined up a few of my favorite old bottles so the light was hitting them nicely and snapped away. Here is one of about 20 shots. It takes me 10 shots to get one good one sometimes. Think of the developing cost before I got the digital! I know! Don't you love your digital camera?

OK, I know it's really too late to have even a tiny chance to win anything here with this entry (I have had a really busy day) but I wanted to post my nieces anyway. So here are my little angels in our annual Christmas Play at Church. These two sang like angels and Sydney used her sign language gifts to sign a song as the choir sang. So proud of them!

I am posting this pic of my husband and I in shadow, to represent my love and appreciation for him and the wonderful weekend we had at Willliamsburg, Va. The sun shone all weekend and I noticed our shadow many times as we walked together. Finally, I made him stop so I could take this picture. I am thankful for my husband!!!
