"No Matter What"

So, the other day I mentioned that I had a video to show you of Syd and I doing our thing in church. Well, after manyyyyyy hours of slicing, dicing and converting files from mp3 to avi...or something like that, I proudly present to you...drum roll please....my little video!

I have to say that until I watched this clip I really had no idea how wonderfully gifted my niece is, I mean we practiced a lot...but I just didn't get the full impact of her grace and poise until I watched this. Sydney learned American Sign Language by watching the interpreter in her classroom who assists a deaf student. Syd had a great desire to communicate with this child and a heart of compassion for her as well. Many of the students have learned the alphabet and can spell words but Syd has become fluent in ASL! We are proud of her and pray that God will continue to use her in the lives of many.

Kellymac, I posted this for you most of all. Miss you!

He's Alive!

I believe...

that Christ was the Son of God,

That He was sent to earth by God, was born of a virgin and lived a perfect sinless life,

then He was murdered by way of crucifiction, a horrific way to die,

as a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind.

His dead body was placed in a cave and that was sealed shut with an enormous stone.

After remaining there for three days something happened...

and our entire identity as Christians hinges on the absolute truth of this one event:

I believe that Jesus is alive today!

  Have a Blessed Easter!

Weekend Jaunt

Hey! Welcome to the new address, and thanks for finding me!
Jim and I enjoyed a great time away to Colonial Williamsburg. My favorite thing was the Berkeley Mansion. It sits on the James River and is the birthplace of the 23rd President, William Henry Harrison.
At Berkeley the date of the building, 1726, and the initials of the owners, Benjamin Harrison IV and his wife, Anne, appear in a datestone over a side door. The early Georgian mansion is said to be the oldest 3-story brick house in Virginia that can prove its date. I found this to be so interesting! Hope you enjoy the pics!
